I set up my kit on the 3rd of September, it worked fantastic for 2 days and then it stopped working. I can find my wifi, connect to it but no internet access. I've reset the router. Created a whole new log in and still nothing. I've messaged starlink and waiting for a response if anyone has encountered this would be greatly appreciated for any feedback. Connections are good router is powered on with the luminated light just not sure what else could be the issue

	Dear Forum,

I'm currently planning a 4 month RV trip from July thru October to US and Canadian national parks. I want to buy the Starlink Mini 100GB Roam plan. My questions are: (1) Are there any limits on how often I can PAUSE service? Any limits on how long service is paused? (2) Do I need to undo the PAUSE or does a PAUSE only last a certain period of time and if so, for how long? (2) If I PAUSE, is my billing period also paused? If I'm billed April 1st and PAUSE April 10 for 10 days does my next bill come due May 10th? (3) Is a month 30 days long, or a calendar month, I.e., will my billing date always be the same date each month if I don't PAUSE? (4) I'll be going into Canada from the US for a couple weeks then back into the US. If I read an FAQ correctly, my Roam 100GB service would still work, correct? (5) One of the FAQs I read said when I order I'd only be billed for the hardware. I'd be billed for service either when I activated service or 30-days after the hardware shipped, whichever came first. But when I went to the order page, the bill included both the hardware cost ($249 for the MINI) and $50 for the service. Is the FAQ outdated? Has the billing procedure changed? (6) What I want to do is order the MINI today, get it and activate it to ensure it's working properly, then PAUSE the service until I need to use it later this summer. I would un-pause and pause based on my need for internet connectivity as I travel. Would the MINI/100GB plan meet my needs?

	Thanks, Mike

p.s. first time user/member of the forum and I was having a hard time seeing if all my questions were previously answered in other posts...please don't beat me up too much.

The speed test on the app shows a signal of 290-350 Mmps on average. The output from the router itself to mobile devices of various kinds while in the same room as the router are around 30-40 Mbps. Could this be a connection issue? Router issue? Or something else I have yet to consider? Thanks in advance.

Hello! I really need help! Yesterday, someone managed to log in to my account, so I had to urgently change the email address that receives the code. However, for some reason, I am no longer receiving emails from Starlink, despite trying various methods. I have changed my email address from pulirangos22@gmail.com to pulirangos106@gmail.com. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the phone number associated with my account. Please assist me in resolving this issue, as I am unable to log in to my account.

I received my starlink kit one week ago, and it works fine from my terrasse, but I need to fix it on a wall far from the house : could I use the kit's cable to connect the antenna to an existing ethernet cat 6 cable (about 25m) that goes into the house, and put the router there ? Won't I get POE problems? This cable goes to the main fuse box : interferences ?

i currently live on a rural property that has 2 houses. the 2nd gen router and dish sit in a shed in between the 2 houses. there is very poor signal in the house i live in due to the distance away and im sure its not great in the other house but im not concerned with that one. i am wondering if i can run an ethernet cable from the router (with the adapter for the gen 2) to my house and then install a TP-Link Deco M4?

Im also wondering if i buy the 2 pack Deco routers and have one directly plugged into the starlink via ethernet, can the 2nd Deco be connected wirelessly to the first? So we would have 2 Deco mesh routers in one building, one connected via ethernet to starlink and one wirelessly to the other.

	Thanks

I have a Starlink Mini device (model UTA-231, 2024) installed in a container office in a rural area.

We’ve recently added a new, much larger container next to it, and now we need the Wi-Fi signal to cover the entire space—but it just doesn’t reach.

I’ve checked the Starlink Mini device itself and didn’t find any Ethernet port, so I believe solutions that require a wired connection won’t work in my case.

What’s the best way to extend the signal? Would a regular Wi-Fi repeater work, or should I look into a mesh network? I’ve heard of mesh systems but don’t really understand how they work.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My friend severed his V2 Starlink (motorised) cable between ethernet adaptor and antenna. We repaired it by splicing the 8 wires together (soldered and adhesive heatshrink and a 2nd heatshrink on top of all 8 + gnd wire).

On rebooting, Starlink router (via wifi) works but there is no ethernet output. Purchased a new ethernet adapter and in installing that again the wifi side is working but not the ethernet adapter and we got a warning saying that there was a problem with the cable which was not there before the new ethernet adapter was installed but after the original damage.

Wondering if this indicates that the antenna is damaged or is it simply the cable ie it is not as well repaired as I thought it was?

I currently have a Mini kit and a Standard kit with the Gen 3 router. Is it possible to connect the Mini dish to the Gen 3 router and use it as a wired mesh? If so, what would the interconnect be? I'm concerned with plugging the Gen 3 router WAN port directly into the Mini ethernet port as I'm not sure that the 57V POE output from the router will damage the Mini dish.

So I was on the waitlist for Antigua and happy to see they started providing service. Ordered a Starlink standard. Got it delivered by DHL. But before getting it delivered I got an email that my Starlink was activated and in the account I saw data usage.

received the box. Which was closed and sealed. Unpacked it, started the app etc.

Then realize that there already is hardware associated to my account which is activated and operational. I could see another persons WiFi and users etc.

Tried to add my “own” antenna which says it’s already associated with another account.

so currently I am paying for someone else using the antenna associated with my account BY STARLINK.

i know exactly which kit number I have in my hands and which different kit is associated to my account. Made a ticket with all information and waiting over 24 hours with nothing happening.

I have changed the wifi name into “you gave the wrong antenna” and changed the password so whoever by, Starlinks, mistake got the antenna associated to my account also will start pushing Starlink to change their error.

I guess this is simply a waiting game for Support?

Pretty certain I have a generation 3 dishy. It was installed in February of 2024 so I’ve had it for 14 months without issue. Last night my PC lost connection on 2 occasions and when I look at my app, it says I’m out of alignment by 6 degrees. The image shows it too tilted. How can this be if it’s been fine for 14 months? Will this correct itself or will I have to climb up there and manually fix it? Outside of those 2 quick disconnections, the internet has been fine.
