  1. I fought all day trying to get my dishie connected on a pole tied to my chimney and routing wires through walls into my location. I have a metal roof which lended to slipping (up and down, up and down) and the message I was receiving was I am using a non Starlink router. After looking at the advanced debug information, I noticed the name of my existing trans-world network router which was still functioning until I could conclude the dishie was functioning. Once I disconnected the trans-world router everything connected and function correctly. Just an FYI, that other routers can cause dishie not to connect. There was nothing in the installation guide or online discussing this issue. Bob

  2. Possibly due to congestion - As they increase the number of satellites the capacity increases. - More launches means more satellites 🙂 I would send in a query or ticket if you can as your in the USA i would expect to not be waiting this long.

  5. I received an email that stated my area would available by Aug. '22 --- The coverage map states available in 2023 --- it keeps getting pushed further out --- I do want this service --- working with other providers (Dish/ Direct) locks one into contracts -- Is there a firm timeline on area availbility?? Tks

  6. I live in the Burningtown area NW of Franklin, NC. I currently have to stay in the Metro Atlanta area during the week simply because I have no reliable internet service to conduct my consulting business. My HUGHSNET is so bad, how bad is it?, I get maybe 1 mb up and 18 down with a 50-60 ms latency, and that is on a great day ! I cannot hand shake with my client's NAS units half the time, or up/down load files error free, and wifi calling is like trying to talk to the ISS behind the moon! I know and understand the challenges Starlink is under, so this is not a complaint. I also am willing to sacrifice so that Ukraine has the systems in place so it can defend itself.

  7. Safe to say its most likely due to scaling - Expected bandwidth usage maybe higher per user than predicted. Keep an eye on the availability map Which area in particular?
