  1. Well guys this is a little embarrassing everything I have posted is true except one thing. The StarLink router is not in bypass mode. I must not have saved the setting when I changed it. The Starlink router wifi is giving out 192.168.1.x ip numbers and my router is giving 10.193.192.x numbers
  2. A little more information of what I think is happen ing. When you turn on bypass mode, you are assigned an IPv6 address that is not being NAT'd. Starlink router is assigned a cgNAT IPv4 address. Because of CGNAT you will always be double NATting but IP6 keeps you from triple NATting.
  3. Can anyone explain what is going on with StarLink bypass mode. It is not traditional bridging. I have a Linksys EA9500 router. I reset to factory defaults, setup two SSIDs, StarLink_2.4GHz and StarLink_5GHz with passwords. The default router address was 192.168.1.1. I put the StarLink Router in bypass mode and plugged the EA9500 router into the $25 Ethernet Adapter. It's working great but how did the EA9500 get an IP address of 10.193.191.121. and DHCP get set to a start IP address of 10.193.191.100? The 10.193 part of the IP Start is fixed but I can change the 191.100. Maximum number of users is 49 but I can change it to 1 to 155. Subnet mask is 255.255.255.0. The EA9500 seems to be functioning as it should but I don’ see the port forwarding option. I know port forwarding is not available because of CGNAT but how does my 3 year old router know the hide it? How did DHCP get set on my EA9500 router? If I enter 192.168.1.1 in a web browser I am get Starlink.com page. The StarLink App works as it did before I put it in bypass mode. Thanks in advance
