  1. We found a compatibility issue on the Starlink-Gen2, (rectangular user terminal), seems that the Starlink router/ethernet adapter have some compatibility issues with the 2.5G ethernet port, some routers that support 2.5/10G ethernet port can't work with Starlink-Gen2 under 1000Mbps full negotiation speed. If you add a 1G switch between the Starlink router/ethernet adapter and 2.5G router, the Internet access works, but if you remove the switch, the Internet will be unavailable. Case1: Starlink router---ethernet adapter---1Gswitch---1000Mbps full--2.5G router (work normally) Case2: Starlink router---ethernet adapter--1000Mbps full--2.5G router (Don't work) Case3: Starlink router---ethernet adapter-- force to 100Mbps full--2.5G router (Work) After some troubleshooting, we suspect that this problem is related to the parity of the packet length, in case 2, all packets with an odd length are not forwarded by Starlink. Is there any Starlink Engineer who can help with this? We can provide the data packets to prove it.
