  1. We use Starlink on our boat and the house SSID is known by anyone who needs it, (our guests and family of course). I would like to put controls in place on how much bandwidth/data budgets, users get and to do that, I would like to introduce a Radius server that I can remotely manage. Lately, users have been going quite crazy with downloads and I need to reduce their capabilities a bit and the Radius server helps in that regard but I need a static IP address. Anyone know how to acquire one for he Starlink? Thanks in advance. Bob Anderson
  2. Starlink Marine plans can be quite expensive. Our plan charges $2.63 per GB on top of the monthly $360 charge. We need to be able to cap peoples use of the WIFI to Satellite service so that someone is prevented from running up a substantial bill. We have APs on 3 different levels of the ship plus a fourth on the back of the ship with seamless connection irrespective of where you are. This is great if your in the Pilot house and then go down to the main deck to the aft of the ship, over 100 feet away. What we need to do is ensure users cap out at a say, 10GB per day. Has anyone else implemented either a Single Sign-on system with data limits and if so, whose are you using? We have D-Link business AP network managed by a D-Link DNH-100 which allows for linking to a Radius system as an example. Trying to get some suggestions from those that have already addressed this issue. Bob
