  1. If I were to sell my property where my Starlink dishy is located, is it possible to transfer ownership of the equipment to the new property owner? If so, is there a charge for this service, and what are the steps I need to take? Lastly, how long does the transfer process take? Thanks in advance for the help.
  2. Hey everyone....just realized (I swear it wasn't on there just a few days ago) Starlink offers a cable installation kit for around $25.It has the paddle bit...the grommets....everything.
  3. You're going to have to explain your rationale on that.Seems to work just fine.
  4. Just curious if anyone else has found a decent commercially available grommet to seal the hole you just drilled in the side of your house to pass the cable through?
  5. My old trusted Linksys WRT1900 ACS has no problems.
  6. OK, let me give this a shot...I have a Linksys router plugged into my official Starlink router. I did this mostly because at this point, there is no way to properly configure or control the parameters on the Starlink. For example, you can't prevent it from broadcasting the SSID...can't enable MAC address filtering, etc.. The only thing I believe you can change at this point is the name of your router. I have not tried running the Starlink router "open" - that is to say with no password.Hope this helps.
  7. Good Day fellow Starlink Users,I live in Northern Arizona and received my Starlink package last week. I live on a heavily wooded lot and don't really have a spot that gives me a perfectly clear 90 degree view of the Northern sky. I get constant short term "drops" (average seven or more drops in a half hour, lasting from 10 seconds to a minute or more). I've ordered a Ridgeline Mount to get above the surrounding trees. The mount has not arrived yet. I have a few questions I'm hoping someone in the community can answer for me:1) The limited documentation I can find on the mount says it is not recommended for high wind areas. Can anyone who has experienced high winds in their area share with me how well the mount performed and any steps you may have taken to secure the mount beyond the recommended 80 pounds of weight on the frame?2) Are the frequent and intermittent drops I am experiencing more a function of not having a clear view of the sky? Or does this have more to do with the number of sats currently in the array? Thanks in advance for any help and information.
