I have the same question. Ordered it on 31 May, and was told "2 to 4 weeks"... Still waiting 8 weeks later.

I'd recommend a very short (and preferably very stiff) rooftop mount and you should be fine. At 46.06N you should have satellites passing directly overhead so elevation issues shouldn't be a concern.
