  1. StarlinkLeader, Sorry for the tardy reply - got tied-up. My cellphone provider, AT&T, does support wi-fi. I am curious; you mention using WiFi Calling across Starlink at major events. Are these major events at locations away from the location of your own Starlink system? Could you explain exactly how your cellphone would access a Starlink system other than your own? I assume that your phone would be detecting that Starlink system's router's wi-fi; would it not usually be password-protected to prevent it from being overwhelmed by many users?
  2. Is there anyone in the Starlink community that has any experience using Starlink as the connection for VOIP? My VOIP provider, Nextiva, tells me that I would require an ISP connection that has ping of less than 150ms, jitter of less than 20ms, and packet loss of less than 1% to work well. Any insight would be appreciated.
  3. I live where there is no cellphone functionality; the cell signal strength is about -120db. Cellphones will detect my router's wi-fi signal, but (I believe) due to the fact that the cell signal I am able to receive does not have the "LTE" component, cellphones will not give satisfactory performance. Is there a method to utilize Starlink in combination with some other technology, as a workaround? Any insight would be appreciated.
  4. I live in a cellphone deadzone - signal strength -128dbm. I have aimed the Starlink antenna, connected and energized the hardware, and my laptop (connected to the internet through Dish Network) appears to detect the presence of the Starlink system. Is there an alternate method to complete the setup, naming my network, assigning a password, and so on, without the benefit of having the setup app available on my not-so-smart phone? A technician at US Cellular told me about using IP address 192.168.100.1, but I am not familiar enough with the protocol to know how this might work. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
