I am going to be doing fieldwork on a remote island in Indonesia and need starlink for OH&S as well as to stay connected as there is no mobile connectivity or internet on the island. I will be using the local ferry and boats to get around but will not have my own boat. Indonesia does not allow the use of starlink but I wondered if I could get around this by using starlink maritime. Or does it have to be registered to a boat?

It is not allowed at the current time to use Starlink roaming in Indonesia but I thought I could use Starlink Maritime as I will be on a remote island (Wetar) which has no internet or mobile coverage. Does starlink maritime need to be matched to a registered boat ie. would anyone know if it was being used on the water or just next to the water?
