Ready to sign up for Starlink. Looking to set it up properly for my needs from the start to remedy the issues with my previous provided. No wifi outside of house. No wifi in shop. Current internet is over telephone line.
Rural property. Zero cell coverage. Wi-Fi is the only way to use cell phones on the property.
Concrete house and shop. Shop is 20’ from house. Possible to run cable from house to shop.
No knowledge of internet routers or extenders. Have access to Cat5 and Cat6 as well as termination tools. (Install radars and cameras for work)
Current router is in the middle of the house. With main TV hardwired to router.
What is the best setup and install location to get Wi-Fi throughout my house. Then extend a good signal to the shop and then hopefully improve signal outside of the house?
