Deep power saving mode in General Starlink Posted March 31, 2022 In late 2021 Starlink engineers said they were working hard on a deep power saving mode to fix the 100 watt 24/7 power usage problem. 1) Have there been any updates? 2) Timeline? If it won't be soon I will need to install 3 or 4 way switches to be able to turn power off/on from both upstairs and downstairs. 3) Are there any known problems with removing power from a Starlink system when not in use? 4) When power is switched back on does Starlink start back up automatically? I live off grid using solar. Please, none of the usual remarks from cheap grid power users that 100 watts 24/7 is not very much.
