Ckiser
I apologize if this question has been asked elsewhere. But I have a simple question. I just got STARLInk yesterday after 2 years on the waiting list (I am in rural NC). So far the speeds have been mostly great (heavy rains hindered them last night). I set up a mesh network for my home and that is working well also. I did not bypass the STARLink router on the app. It is still avaialble for a connection even though I am not using it and connecting to the mesh network. Is there any value in "activating" the bypass? Will that improve performance or is that more so people won't connect directly to STARLINK when I have a mesh router in place. Just curious. Thank you in advance for your advice.
RicochetStarlink
It's totally up to you. I would prefer to bypass the Starlink mode, if it were me. This disables the Starlink WiFI network as a source of possible attack or intrusion.
