I live in rural Queensland where power is sometimes switched off for maintenance and new service connections etc.

Since getting Starlink, I have had two outages and with both of them  Starlink remains  "DISCONNECTED" after a powering up the generator.  So in this scenario Starlink will not reboot on its own and I have to switch the Starlink mains plug off and then back on, and then  it reboots as normal.

It could have something to do with the fact that the generator power impulse does not allow it to reboot properly I am not sure, so I thought I would raise it and see if anyone else has come across this issue.

I don’t have a generator, so I cannot speak to that situation. However, if you have regular outages, try installing a small UPS (battery backup) and plugging your Starlink Kit into it. This will give you some time, depending on the size of the UPS battery, to get your generator started before the Starlink Kit loses power.
