Huxta
I needed some extra cable distance so I got a cat-6 and spliced it in based on a couple videos I had seen. I used the T568-B pin put for both severed ends of the starlink cable I cut. I had 200ft of cat6 with factory ended r45's. I used outdoor waterproof rj45 couplers. Starlink would say it's booting up but never connects. I removed the 200ft cat 6 and connected the two startlink ends with the rj45 coupler and it worked no problem so I know my rj45 ends are fine. I then used only about a 50 ft section of the cat6, cut both terminated ends off and rewired them the same as I did with the starlink ends so now all four rj45 ends are ones that I wired so I know they are all the same. Still will not boot up when using the cat6. What am I missing?
Huxta
I figured it out. Had a bad termination on one of the cat 6 ends.
RicochetStarlink
@Huxta Starlink Forum has had a lot of folks asking about extended the length of the antenna cable for their Starlink. Would you be so kind as to share links to the videos that covered constructing this cable? Thanks!
