I’m preparing to purchase a Starlink setup.

I tried really hard to find the answer on Starlink’s website… I want a mobile service to use around Australia. This is easy to find as a “Mobile-Regional” service plan.

Perhaps in 12 months I might want to tour the UK with my Starlink mobile service but that’s obviously a different region. I don’t want to pay every month from now for a "Mobile-Global" plan just so that I can roam in the UK for a month or two at some point in the future.

So…. can I change regions/continents occasionally on a mobile-regional plan, or change between Mobile-Regional and Mobile-Global plans when needed? Or is there some other way of achieving my goals without constantly being on a Mobile-Global plan?

Does anyone know how to pose this question to Starlink?

You should be able to switch plans through the account dashboard as needed. However, I don’t know if there is any difference in the Starlink Kit for the two plans.
