No mobile phone signal so how do you set up Starlink?

Good afternoon everyone,

A question if I may . I installed my Starlink here in North West France a couple of months ago and am absolutely delighted with the results. A neighbour has shown an interest in also installing the system (he currently uses a local community system which is antena based) which is bordering on the useless. My question, he has no mobile phone signal where he lives so I cannot work out how he would, with the help of the Starlink app, set up a Starlink system.

 

Any help or suggestions would be gratefully received.

The Starlink mobile app does not require a cell signal if it can be connected to a WiFi network with Internet access.

Maybe he can come over to your place with his equipment to set it up. If I well understand you have starlink, hence you have Wifi. Or cell reception should be even available at your place, cause you were able to set up your equipment

A Starlink Kit with Standard (Residential) service is very sensitive to it's location. Generally, the antenna and router will refuse to work if not at the registered service address. So, this may not be possible.
