StarlinkLeader
NZ/Aus getting coverage at the moment and enough coverage to do full time connectivity. pacific is a big target on starlinks list :)
balsafliesbetter
I read somewhere that there will be Starlink satellites that pass bandwidth to other satellites, so we don't have to be close to the uplinks. That sounds like how Pitcairn and Midway will get their juice. I predict that the current Starlink is only the first baby steps to something stellar. They have been testing it for a while, AFAIK the laser uplinking is not in production yet - but is installed on the current version of sats. So its a matter of development testing, getting it right. ( To be honest pointing lasers from sats at each other in space is horrendously complicated )
