Starlink and WIRES-X Amatuer Radio Software

Recommended Posts

Good Afternoon,

For my WIRES-X Amateur Radio Software to work with the internet i need both a static IP address and a CGNAT disabled connection.

is there a work around with Starlink to obtain both requirements.???

Desperately would like to get starling working and ditch current provider.

Thanks in advance,

Derek VK2YN

We have the same problem down here in SW  UK using Wires-X, Starlink one end,  Plusnet (real world IP) other end as ma VPN host, tried both OpenVPN and Wireguard.  My Plusnet IP address appears correctly at the Starlink end, can browse too so port 80 packets getting through.  Have set port forwarding up at the Plusnet end, Port triggers etc.   so wonder if its a latency issue.
