PaulP
Why does my Starlink setup access the "spacex.com" domain about every 5 seconds? According to my DNS logs, this domain gets hit many times. I have not tried to sniff the packets for a payload, but I figured someone on this forum would know. Can I block these requests? Thanks for the assistance. StarlinkLeader
Whilst I’m not an engineer, I’m assuming it’s the router which does it. But the Starlink may also call back home for stability / network reporting. within the app under statistics and the app widgets - dns, ping is shown - indicating how stable the Starlink terminal internet connection is.. based on its connectivity. This won’t affect your connection or data use, as I’m pretty sure spacex.com and Starlink.com traffic won’t count towards your data cap.
