Starlink Lite installation questions

Recommended Posts

I currently use Comcast and only stream. Am considering the Lite version of Starlink.

Will I have a problem with streaming one TV between 6:00 am and 9:00 pm Mountain standard time?

Also a second TV for a few hours a day? We only use our smartphones for calling.

Is the router hard wired to the antenna?

Does the antenna require power?

How far is the wireless router effective?

Can I run my printer through the router?

Many thanks for any thoughts.

Hi @roadrunnerray

Yes you can stream - But i wouldn't recommend streaming two TV's on a starlink residential lite plan... 2x 5-10mbps? .. not on a lite plan.

The router is hard wired to the starlink terminal.

Yes the starlink dish is powered.

Router effective range is dependent on multiple factors - See starlink specifications for more information.

Yes you can run your printer on starlink.

Many many thanks for your kind thoughts, sounds like I better use the regular version of Starlink.
