Hi all,

I'm using the Starlink Gen 3 router and I'm facing issues with smart home devices on my network. After restarting the router, everything works fine for a while, but then all the smart devices stop responding. Interestingly, they still appear as "connected" in the Starlink app.

I have two separate Wi-Fi networks (2.4GHz and 5GHz). The devices I use include: Sonoff, Tuya, Xiaomi, Ezviz, and Google Nest. My phone stays connected and works normally, but the smart devices lose functionality. All updates are installed, and I’m not using any mesh or Wi-Fi extenders.

My question is: could a single faulty device (e.g., a smart bulb) be causing issues that affect the whole network and make all the other smart devices stop working? or is something else ?

Tried running combined network 2.4/5ghz together?

May have to run a lower end AP for the devices on IOT WiFi ( I call it IOT wifi because they use wifi for low bandwidth comms )

- Try a ubnt unifi AP - You can reconfigure them fairly easily to do 2.4ghz without unscheduled power delivery/management.
