aj127
i currently live on a rural property that has 2 houses. the 2nd gen router and dish sit in a shed in between the 2 houses. there is very poor signal in the house i live in due to the distance away and im sure its not great in the other house but im not concerned with that one. i am wondering if i can run an ethernet cable from the router (with the adapter for the gen 2) to my house and then install a TP-Link Deco M4? Im also wondering if i buy the 2 pack Deco routers and have one directly plugged into the starlink via ethernet, can the 2nd Deco be connected wirelessly to the first? So we would have 2 Deco mesh routers in one building, one connected via ethernet to starlink and one wirelessly to the other. StarlinkLeader
If you connect one deco via ethernet, the other deco nodes will connect via mesh wireless. If they didnt - it would be in efficient and id look at other wifi mesh solutions. Just double check 🙂 Quote Link to comment https://starlinkforum.net/topic/18634-starlink-gen-2-router-aftermarket-mesh-network/#findComment-22590 Share on other sites
