Garth Posted July 21, 2024 Share Posted July 21, 2024 We recently installed Starlink Maritime with the 50 gb plan and it works great. Streaming, online meetings, charts, weather.....never any issues. I would however love to have more control over the plan, for example turning off the global priority when in a marina in order to save the offshore data for when you are out. I've already had it bite me on the hind-end to be heading offshore later in my use-month, only to cross over into the per gig pricing basically at the same time we leave. Has anyone heard discussion about this from Starlink? I know I can opt into a bigger plan, but that is 3 or 4 times monthly cost commitment.
