MikeM
I have an ASUS RT-AX88U router connected to my Starlink Gen3 router. The Starling router is in Bypass mode and everything is working as expected for normal internet access. I opened a port (port forward) on the ASUS router. When I check the port using a service like CanYouSeeMe dot Org the port does not appear to be open. I have the same make and model routers connected to two other internet services and both work properly. (CanYouSeeMe can see my open port) If I unplug the Starlink Ethernet cable from the ASUS router and connect my cable-TV internet cable, CanYouSeeMe can see the open port. I want to use Amcrest wireless IP Cams on Starlink as stand-alone devices and I need open port(s). Can you help? Thanks!
RicochetStarlink
Starlink uses Carrier-Grade NAT (CGNAT) which does not provide for routing ports to internal IP addresses. I don't think you can accomplish what you want here.
