Trident
Hello all, New/prospective user here in UK and NOT having a good experience. I've got as far as trying to getting my new Generation 3 router connected but the wifi is hopeless. Using a wifi analyser it shows there is a hidden SSID signal emanating from the Gen 3 router which is swamping the signal I'm trying to connect to and preventing me proceeding to do anything. It's causing the wifi connection to disconnect even with my phone (on which I'm running the Starlink app) actually touching the router. This is ridiculous. I can't find any way of accessing the router to change the settings beyond putting it in Bypass mode. How on earth do I get a stable connection to set up the system and actually sign up? I could probably use a different internet connection, but that goes against the grain - It should be straightforward. Eventually and if I don't get fed up and send it back I will connect it via ethernet to my home network, but I'm not impressed with it so far. Any ideas please? Oh and by the way, I am also NOT impressed with the extra £75 "Congestion charge" I am expected to pay because of where I live which wasn't mentioned anywhere in any of the info I read before buying the kit. Thanks, Frank.
