Starlink running fine and now nothing?

Recommended Posts

I have had starlink up and running well over two months and it has been wonderful to us. It hardly ever dropped service and was fast. This is now day 2 that we have been completely (almost) offline. With the exception of quick(5 minute) bursts of connection. I have the Ethernet adapter and it is plugged into a netgear ac1750. The thing that stumps me is nothing has changed. The cables are fine, I haven’t moved anything, nor did I change any settings. Does anyone know what I could try to resolve this? I have unplugged for a minute and plugged back in and waited over an hour, as well as factory resetting it by plugging in and unplugging 3x. I don’t know of anything else to do. Please help, and thank you in advance.

Something odd going on there - There is usage during the outage period.

It may have been running a firmware update.

I'd recommend powering off for 20 minutes, turn back on - if still experiencing outage then perform a factory reset as per starlink instructions - the power 3x reset isn't a gauranteed way of factory reset.

Any obstructions? bad weather?

The weather has been fine and I’ve never had any obstructions. No trees are near the house. I just don’t know why it’s doing this now out of nowhere. Nothing at all has changed.
