Touchdown03
Hello, Since I installed a Starlink dish we are unable to send emails using Outlook 2013. I use a bell.net email from Bell Canada. I have attempted to contact Microsoft without any success. I also tried the following solution below to no avail. Can anyone advise on what can be done to solve this issue. NOTE: I receive incoming emails with no issue at all. StarlinkLeader
Have you contacted Microsoft about the issue?
Touchdown03
Yes - I've tried a couple of times but there has been no response and nothing in their forums to address the issue.
RicochetStarlink
Long story short, Microsoft Office 2013 support ended on April 10, 2018 — about 4 years ago. Microsoft will continue to provide security updates as they see fit through April 11, 2023. After that date, there will be no more updates. I know this from my experience as a Microsoft Technial Account Manager and by consulting the official Microsoft Lifecycle for Outlook 2013. Long story short, getting an answer from Microsoft regarding issues with Outlook 2013 is likely limited to “upgrade to a supported version” (I.e., Outlook 2016, 2019, or 2021). That’s not to say that Outlook 2013 shouldn’t work with your Starlink service. It just means that getting an answer here might be very difficult. Have you tried another email client? Are you able to access your email through your email provider’s web interface? Edited November 23, 2022 by RIcochet
Jordan Heron
I'm having the same problem. The issue is not accessing the email in Outlook, it is only sending that does not work. I tried the suggested log on to Outlook web based mail first, but that does not seem to have fixed the issue.
