SriniTX
Hello - I am new to this forum and Starlink. We are moving to rural East Texas (outside of Winona, to be precise) and cable, fiber, 5G, etc., are not available. We are considering Starlink - but the entire third of Texas, including East Texas is shown as no service in the coverage map and the only option is waitlist. I am assuming this is a capacity issue and not a lack of coverage. I am wondering if anyone living in the Tyler, TX area will be able to provide information on Starlink coverage? Also, does Roam work as a substitute for the home equipment? This becomes important because Starlink won't ship the equipment without coverage at an address and puts you on a waitlist. Thank you in advance! Srini
RicochetStarlink
Starlink Roam is an option, but it has a lower priority than Residential. Also, while it is possible to switch from Residential to Roam, you cannot switch from Roam to Residential without buying a new Kit.
