I have done review reading, and have not been able to answer a question, to my satisfaction.I play online games most everyday and evening. The game I am playing now requires a Static IP Address. southerndoc Posted September 29, 2024 Share Posted September 29, 2024 Starlink doesn't offer static IPs. You can get a public-facing IP, but it is still DHCP and subject to rotation. However, the official response from Starlink is that it rarely changes (even during reboots/firmware upgrades). It basically functions as a static IP, but they reserve the right to change it for network reconfiguration at their benefit. You can now get a Starlink "enterprise kit" that is the standard dish without the router.
