  1. Sorry for the confusion. Yes I did mean bypass (SL calls it Bridge Mode). The Dlink router was attached via the Ethernet cable to the SL router. The file download speeds were similar both with the SL router and the Dlink but net based speed test shown a drastic difference in rated download speeds. Strange.
  2. I have done a little research on this issue and it makes me question the posted test speed of the SL router itself. At 150mbs claimed, it does not actually match to a couple of test files I downloaded from various sites. Out of curiosity, I bridged the SL router and reconnected the Dlink I was using and achieved much the same download speeds. Any thoughts?
  3. Good day, I am attempting to bypass the SL router and connect an external router to manage a Ubiquity Internet bridge to my remote garage. All goes well for the connection but there is a serious drop in internet connection speed. Can someone enlighten me as to what may be causing this? I reverted back to the SL router and speeds went back to normal. Any help appreciated. Jim
