I am finally about to order Starlink for our holiday property in rural Spain. It’s been a long time in the making due to various reasons but next month is my next opportunity to get Starlink delivered and up and running.
Currently I use a Linksys EA7500 router for Wi-Fi in the property and three hardwired ethernet connections. First hardwired ethernet connection is to the TV box. The second is to a PTZ camera and the third goes to an external router to provide Wi-Fi in the garden. This second router has a single ethernet cable plugged in which handles 4 other security cameras via a hardwired ethernet point with POE switch.
Due to above set up, I don’t want to change any of it, I just want Starlink to provide the internet as I can only receive a pitiful 15mb download and 1-2mb upload from the best provider in our area.
I have researched the bypass mode process till my head is spinning and I am still lost with what to do, so many conflicting methods. Some say my Linksys router does not require any configurations, just put the Starlink into Bypass mode and others say my Linksys router requires configuring.
Can anyone advise please?
