  1. Definitely check the mount/stand connection - if its not properly in, for some reason it won't turn on.
  2. You may need to change location on your account since portability is disabled.
  3. Depends on load on support team - Any where from 7 business days to 18+ business days. This should decrease as more systems are developed to handle transfer of ownership.
  4. I wouldn't use a second router will only cause extra latency/issues.
  5. Hi @Morgan1 Did you follow these instructions for the setup of mesh wifi? Set Up Start by making sure your Starlink Kit is set up and connected to the internet prior to setting up your mesh nodes. Connect to your existing Starlink WiFi network from your device. Plug in your Starlink mesh node to a power outlet. See below for mesh placement tips. Open the Starlink App. Wait 1-2 minutes for a "PAIR NEW MESH NODE" notification to appear in the App. Click "PAIR". This node will begin connecting on the NETWORK screen. Connection will take about 1-2 minutes. Upon connection, the node will appear on the NETWORK screen in the App. Repeat with additional nodes. See the Starlink Mesh Install Guide for more information. Mesh Placement Tips Mesh nodes work best when they’re placed no more than one to two rooms apart from each other. The bigger your house, the more mesh nodes you will need to cover the area. Before you set up your Mesh nodes, use the WiFi Scanner on the Starlink App to analyze the signal strength of your existing Starlink router to see where you may need more coverage. Make sure mesh nodes on different floors are not directly on top of each other, as signal is weaker directly above and below the router, and stronger from the sides. See How can I improve my WiFi connectivity? for more detailed tips on optimizing your environment, like placing your router in an upright position, in an open area, and away from sources of interference.
  6. Via your online account at auth.starlink.com then go to support, you should see previous support queries or the ability to submit a support query. Also check out this link for more info regarding submitting a support ticket to Starlink -> https://www.starlinkhardware.com/how-to-contact-starlink-customer-support/
  7. Limit on PoE cables can be around 100M+, see how you go - do remember that there is a particular wiring method for starlink.
  8. Not sure whats going on here but.... 😕
  9. Is your dish powered on and running at all? Did you rewire according to starlink propriety wiring?
  10. Sorry to hear of your not so good experience. From what I'm seeing there is more sats and network development to be done to " equalize " the numerous different service offerings. Equalize - I mean by, getting all services to a decent stable QOS level. Currently mobile/RV users are experiencing slower speeds than normal. Speeds and reliability are expected to increase as Starlink teams make developments. Whilst I acknowledge your stress and the inability to use the connection at certain times - But hold on, its worth it - The end result from the great team at SpaceX is worth it, the impossible is made " late " with SpaceX but they do things pretty well. Given time and bug fixes, firmware updates you should see normal stable internet within the next few weeks ( maybe a month or two depending on how launches and firmware updates go )
  11. Have you rebooted it? Turned it off for 20-30 minutes then booted back on?
  12. Hi @bselff During sat handover there is packet loss, this will cause issues during a wifi call. As more sats are introduced and laser sat uplinks - Then handover packet loss will reduce and wifi calls will be more stable.
  13. I'd say its a handover at that exact time. Mathematically your going to get handovers at relatively the same time every day unless a lot more satellites are introduced. - WAN Failover + Load balancing would be ideal using a Peplink with VPN. - Second internet connection will be required for handover. Unfortunately handover's are still effecting audio/visual uplinks - With more sat's being introduced, including laser uplinks - This will reduce handover packet loss. Hope this helps 🙂
  14. Going to more than likely damage something on your starlink PoE power supply by not running pure sine wave.... Run a decent UPS and you won't have issues. Cheap UPS's/backups that are not pure sine wave in my own opinion are house fire risks as well.
  15. Can be a number of things, did you by any chance use a different cable? Its recommended to use shielded cable, this reduces interference. Are you using the default cable included?
  16. Ensure the cable coming out of dishy - There is a plug type connection in the pole. Make sure its secure and snug, Check out this mention of the same issue from a forum member;
  17. Hi @Starleg You won't need a router. The mesh units can pair to each other, just one single router is required. Check out this article on Starlish Mesh Nodes - https://www.starlinkhardware.com/starlink-mesh-nodes-mesh-networks-made-easy/
  18. Cable can come out of it - its about the only function for the hole on the pole 😄
  19. Reactivation of a starlink account can be achieved by commenting on the last ticket that was used to request disconnection. They can then re-activate your account.

  21. More info on the Starlink V2.0 satellites: Each satellite is ~7 meters long & weighs 1.25 tons (V1: 0.26 tons) Will be almost an order of magnitude more capable than V1 An entire plane (110-120 satellites) of the Gen2 constellation could be launched on a single Starship flight Each V2 launch could expand total network capacity about 20x more than a Falcon 9 launch with V1 satellites Note: FCC still needs to accept SpaceX’s updated Gen2 license request before the new constellation can be deployed Hear Elon's chat about Starlink V2 Satellites in this YouTube VLOG from Everyday Astronaut
