  1. Is there a recommended way to shorten the cable to the antenna? I have about 50ft of cable sitting on the floor underneath my router. I've considered cutting it, installing RJ45 connecters and link those together? Is there a better way? Would I be better off, just cutting, and then soldering/insulating all of the twisted pairs together? Thoughts?
  2. I have a similar problem to this. I get in a situation where the app says that it's connected, the statistics show ok latency, but usage will only show .01 mbps. I can't get a connection. This usually manifests itself in the morning after the dish has rebooted for an update or other reason. In order to resolve it this morning, I had to reboot the dish 5 times. After reboot it will likely show connected, but .01 mbps, sometimes it will say that it can't connect to the dish, and if I'm lucky it will work normally. In the past when this has happened, I have left it showing .01 mbps for several hours and it never improves until I reboot and it connects propertly. I've been in contact with Starlink and I've received a new router, cable and ethernet adapter. Any other ideas?
  3. Is it possible to shorten the cable going to the dish? On my home install, I probably need only 25 feet or less, so I have 50ft of cable coiled up on the floor of my office. Is there any practical way to shorten the cable?
  4. I just received my Starlink and the Wifi seems to work fine, but since I already have a 3 node google mesh setup, does it make sense to get the ethernet adapter and incorporate it? It appears the Starlink router wouldn't be needed at all in that case? Meaning, I would just use the ethernet adapter and plug my main google mesh node to that? That means, I would just leave the Starlink router in my camper with an extra cable and I could just bring the antenna along when camping. If that is the case, it means the antenna has all the smarts and the router is really just a wifi access point?
