GreenMtns
Because Hulu uses Starlinks Ground station IP Address as my geolocation they think I live in NYC. I live 300 miles to the north in Vermont. Can yu make a change to a public Burlington, VT IP Address, I can provide one if nessary. Thank You Al
RicochetStarlink
StarlinkForums.net is not affiliated with Starlink. We are customers of Starlink who try to help each other out. So, no, sadly, we cannot help you with your IP Address. Moreover, Starlink’s network behaves as you described. The is all done dynamically by software and Starlink has no means to assign you a more geo-specific IP Address. Even Starlink business does not allow you to choose the locale of the static IP address it provides. I suggest that you reach out to Hulu for assistance in finding a possible solution. JebTN
Been trying to solve a similar problem with Peacock streaming service, it thinks I'm in Atlanta, they have been supposedly trying to fix the problem for several months. They send me a canned eMail every few weeks to try again because they think they found the problem. The latest, today was if it continued to not work to request a static IP address from ISP. I would guess Hulu will give a similar run around.
RicochetStarlink
The only way to get a static IP Address from Starlink is to upgrade to Starlink Business. That's a pretty hefty investment, both for the equipment ($2500, I think) and the monthly fees which start at $250/month.
Alex1881
Maybe you can try a VPN? Possibly some VPN providers have an exit node somewhere around Boston. Or somewhere acceptable by HULU. not very satisfactory though.
RicochetStarlink
VPN's and Starlink don't get along for the most part. I believe that PureVPN boasts that they are Starlink compatible..

RicochetStarlink
@GreenMtns, Firstly, the Starlink Forum (https://starlinkforum.net) is not owned, operated, or directly associated with Starlink. For these kinds of questions, you need to contact Starlink support. That being said, Starlink has no way to provide you with an IP address located in Burlington, VT. Their network infastructure always provides an IP address associated with the ground station to which you are connected. I have had this conversation with Starlink Support and have been informed that there is no way that they can make this happen.
