Matt
Hi, I have just gotten Starlink Business, and it allows me to connect wirelessly, or use a wired connection, but apparently not both at once. Is there any way to do this with what comes in the box? Or do I have to buy the adapter from the store? https://shop.starlink.com/products/us-premium-ethernet-adapter-gen2-business Matt
RicochetStarlink
Yes, that is correct. If you want to connect to Starlink using both wired and wireless connections, you will need the Ethernet adapter. If you want to connect multiple devices via Ethernet, you will need a switch (or router) plugged into the single port on the Ethernet adapter and then plug your wired connections into the device.
Matt
Thanks very much @RicochetStarlink. I will buy that adapter. One thing I've noticed is that connecting multiple devices to a switch/splitter has been problematic, more so than connecting multiple devices with other satellite internet services. When two devices are connected, for example, the second device is no longer able to access certain websites. Any thoughts there? This is using a tp-link switch. Any thoughts there? Are there particular switches that are known to work with Starlink?

RicochetStarlink
@Matt, Honestly, I don't know. I have a high-end router (Sophos 2300) that connects to my Starlink Ethernet Adapter. There are multiple devices -- WiFi access points, laptops, desktops, etc -- connected to it and I have no problem.
