Charles Sunderlin
I have not been successful finding a way to put the Starlink App on my laptop computer, but it works on my phone. What is the solution to put the Starlink App on my Windows 10 Laptop?
RicochetStarlink
The Starlink Mobile app is only available for iOS (Apple) and Android™ devices. There is not Starlink App for Windows, macOS or Linux. You can, however, point the browser on your WIndows 10 laptop to https://192.168.100.1/ to get to the router's browser interface. The browser-based app has the key functions available through the mobile app.

Updated Starlink Setup Guide for PC Activation 1. Unpack and Inspect Your Kit Contents: Your kit should include the Starlink dish, mounting hardware, a Wi-Fi router (with integrated modem), power supply, and necessary cables. Inspection: Verify that all components are present and undamaged. For the most current list of included items, refer to the checklist on the Starlink website. 2. Choose the Right Installation Location Clear View of the Sky: Starlink’s performance depends on an unobstructed view of the sky. Find a location where trees, buildings, or other obstacles won’t block the dish’s line of sight. Mounting Considerations: For Non-Actuated (Manual) Dishes: Precise manual alignment is required. Use a stable mounting surface (roof, pole, or tripod) and follow the latest guidance on proper elevation and azimuth angles as provided in Starlink’s installation resources. For Actuated Units: While some systems offer automated alignment, many current installations rely on manual adjustments—check your kit’s documentation to be sure. 3. Hardware Setup and Connections Dish Installation: Mount your dish securely in the chosen location. For manual (non-actuated) units, use the latest recommended angles from the Starlink support pages to ensure optimal performance. Cabling: Connect the cable from the dish to the designated port on the router. Ensure all connections are secure. Powering Up: Plug in the router and the dish’s power supply. Wait a few minutes for the system to initialize and start receiving satellite signals. 4. PC Activation and Network Configuration Activation Portal: To begin the activation process, use the updated activation page: https://www.starlink.com/activate Steps for Activation: Visit the Activation Page: Open your PC’s web browser and navigate to the activation URL above. Log In or Create an Account: Follow the on-screen instructions to either log in or register a new account if needed. Follow the Prompts: The activation portal will guide you through verifying your installation, configuring your network settings, and linking your hardware to your account. Connecting Your PC: Wi-Fi: Use the network name (SSID) and password provided with your kit. Ethernet (Optional): For a more stable connection, plug an Ethernet cable directly from your PC to the router’s LAN port. 5. Fine-Tuning and Testing Signal Quality Check: Once activated, use the Starlink app or online dashboard (if available) to monitor your signal strength and system health. Adjustments: If the connection isn’t optimal, slightly adjust the dish’s alignment as needed. Even minor changes can help improve performance. Speed Test: Run an online speed test to confirm that you’re receiving the expected performance. 6. Additional Resources and Updates Official Guidance: For the most accurate, up-to-date instructions and troubleshooting tips, always refer to the official Starlink website or support pages. Firmware and Software: Regularly check for firmware updates for your router and any updates to the Starlink app, which can enhance performance and add new features.
