Star Surfer
My Starlink is on a 10' pole above the peak of my roof, but it still fails every 10 minutes or so due, I assume, to a tall treeline to the North. I can't climb the 10' pole with my phone to check for obstructions with the App; is there a way my Starlink can create an obstruction map just like the app creates so I can see which trees need pruning? Not all of them beign on my property, this would be good information to have. TIA!
RicochetStarlink
In the Starlink mobile app, the obstruction map is actually built by the Router based on data from the Starlink antenna. You don't need to get up to the antenna with your phone. Just take a look at the obstruction map in the mobile app while everything is connected. It's unfortunate that the tall trees are to the north because, if you are in the Northern hemisphere, your Starlink antenna is going to point itself north-ish. Good luck!
