Dishy Reboots every night

Recommended Posts

I’m constantly see the “Starlink software update is pending and will reboot between 2 and 4 AM local time.” Message on the dashboard.

Dishy reboots at appx 5 am every day, I assume to install the update, but after boots up, I still see the “Starlink software update is pending and will reboot between 2 and 4 AM local time.”

The current version is the : 2024.10.10.MR44316 And for the WiFi router 2024.10.04.MR41540 which are the latest.

Can you please assist? Is the equipment defective? ps. I have try to factory reset the unit and reboot once after that but the message remains.

I’m experiencing the exact same issue with my Starlink version 2024.10.10.MR44316. I also see a notification that an update is available, and my Dishy is currently rebooting daily. A factory reset didn’t help. My Dishy is only a few days old, and I initially thought it was defective, but it seems to be a larger software issue.

Hello,  Thank you for your response.

I have created a support ticket and will keep you updated on any information I receive from them.

Currently, there are two firmware versions available for Dishy:

• 2024-10-20: 2024.10.13.mr44429

• 2024-10-18: ae62e7b0-2acc-4b8f-a6c2-2fee28fa365c.uterm_manifest.release

Neither of these versions has been installed yet. I assume that, since SpaceX deploys firmware updates in batches, there may be a delay affecting my region.

also tried factory Reset, connect dishy directly to router without any extenuation cables but no luck.

Same here. Starlink updated to 2024.10.13.MR44429 and the message to prompt me to update has gone. Everything seems to work fine.

in the meantime I receive a reply for support 1 hour ago:

“I do apologize that you are having issues with updates being ran on your Dish, we are aware of this issue and are actively working to resolve this.”

so it was indeed a software related issue!
