Recommended Posts

I HAVE A REPLACEMENT COMING TO ME FROM Calif. BUT IT IS RATED LESS THANM 180W. I READ SOMEWHERE IN SPECS from Starlink-SpaceX THAT THE SYSTEM USES 100W CONTINUOUS. Has ANYONE FOUND a working replacement anywhere. Please report the mfg., model, critical specs, source. Thanks in advance. rokonJim

I was unable to source a 120vac power supply PoE injector with 180w 56v output anywhere, including major USA electrical parts distr. and even Alibaba.com in the Far East. If having your system remain operational for critical reasons, finding a back-up spare power supply might be a good idea as Starlink-SpaceX will not sell you one at the present time (6-21-21) For example if you rely on reliable internet to do stock trades, you may not be happy if you lost use of your system for an indeterminate length of time. The 8 pin contacts in the two RJ45 ports are copper, not gold plated, or if they are gold-plated, then the plating has pores in it. They oxidized and became green and black on my power supply and both indicator lights are unlit.rokonJim

Seems the hardest thing to do with StarLink is to actually get to contact anyone within the system. Service to me is of the utmost importance and communication is the rails that Service rides on...Does anyone working at StarLink monitor this forum or are we The Customers on our own here? Not a very warm or fuzzy vibe...

I too had my power supply go out six days ago. I have put out two tickets on my Starlink app. I have heard nothing from Starlink. I have run through every scenario you can possibly imagine, I have sent my D bug data sheet in my ticket as they suggested. I still have no answer. It is very difficult to do any sort of work, or have your smart house function in any way when you don’t have Wi-Fi. My satellite is running just fine, I just have no way to use the signal. It seems there is no other adapter that works in place of the Starlink power supply. This is way beyond frustrating. @rokonJim you end up finding anything to Fix your situation? I also posted on this forum saying that my POE had died. And the response was that I could go on the app and purchase another one. that is not possible.  DOES ANYONE KMOW OF ANY SOLUTION TO A DEAD POWER SUPPLY???
