Mojobelly
I lost internet service following a snow storm. I was able to restore service after I performed a factory reset of my router. However, I am unable to pair my main router with my mesh router. I've tried rebooting the mesh router multiple times. The app asks me if I want to pair them, I hit yes, but nothing happens. Any suggestions?
RicochetStarlink
@Mojobelly, Did you also reset the mesh router? The pairing process links the mesh router with your primary router -- though I can't say exactly how this is done. It is possible that, after resetting your primary router, you need to reset the mesh router(s) as well.
Mojobelly
Yes. I have reset both routers multiple times. I think the issue is that the routers are too far apart. The set-up has worked fine for the past 6 months but now it looks like the range on my main router has decreased. I'm not sure why. Nothing has changed with the location of either router. RicochetStarlink
What is the distance between the two routers?
Mojobelly
The routers are about 75 feet apart. That's as close as I can get them because the main router is in my garage. The dish is on top of my garage because it's the only place on my property with an unobstructed view.
