gen 2 dish won't power up

I just received the kit and followed the instructions carefully but the dish won't power up.  There is a light on the router.  When I fist went to settings homewifi showed up as the ssid of the wifi .  I did a factory reset of the router and then starlink showed up.  The dish has never powered up  I unplugged and checked both ends of the cable but no luck.  Is it possible they sent me a used unit.  I don't understand why homewifi showed up as the ssid.  Homewif was locked by a password that was already set.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.
