Modem Indicator Lights For My New Installation

I recently installed the rectangular Dishy Jan 2022 and have been getting excellent signal, but the indicator lights on the face of the modem where the circles are do not light up. My neighbor has the round Dishy and his modem has 2 indicator lights on his modem that illuminate. My visibility, obstruction and latency seem good according to the numbers, but the modem is unlit, except for the power indicator on the bottom. Am I missing something or should I let the sleeping dog lie? I will explore a firmware update for a possible reason. Thanks!

It is apparent to me that the user has no control over when a firmware update is available for Dishy nor the modem, which appears to be a good thing, since Starlink appears to automatically do it. Here is a source for a chronology of firmware updates.
