  1. While away on vacation a planned (planned after I left) power outage occurred. I didn't worry as it was plugged into a surge protected UPS and this has occurred successfully before. Upon returning I found that my router was not recognizing it had power. It was in router bypass mode to use my own router. I have tried the following: - Testing different plugs that I know work - Factory resetting through the plug in and out method - Tested the external router at my neighbors (no issue) I have contacted customer support but was looking to see if anyone had recommendations while I wait.

  2. Thanks. The NAS has no internet syncing configured, and is not exposed to the internet for remote access. I do however need to use the DNS zone on the Synology router so various clients can get to the NAS easily. I don't believe the Gen3 Starlink router will perform this service. When the Starlink is in bypass mode, is its wifi turned off? We used the same SSID/pw on the starlink router (before set to bypass mode) when configuring the Synology router. We did this to ease client transition. If the Gen3 wifi is still on, I can change the SSID/pw so no one will join there when the Synology is providing wifi.

  4. Google Fi provides service via WiFi and, this, coupled with Starlink, works well for me and my wife's phones.

  5. What you're looking for is "Bypass Mode" which disables pretty much all router functions and passes the WAN address out by DHCP to your own router or firewall. Once in Bypass the only way back is to factory reset the SL router, but that's an easy button press. Note they use CGNAT so your address will be on 100.64.0.0/10. This also means you'll still have double NAT.
