  1. This could be part of the issue but may be unrelated. Starlink confirms android app issue^What version and how old is the Apple TV unit?
  2. Consistant? What location?
  3. Due to starlink geo locking units to one geolocation cell - mounting it on a boat would not be possible. However in time marine hardware will be available - to connect to the starlink network.
  4. The reason for the dropping out is the BETA stage of " switch over " between satellites. Due to the large " switch over " between the sat's it causes a drop out. As more satellites get introduced + better firmware gets released to both CPE's and satellite's - You will then get little to no drop outs. Plus the laser uplinking between satellites isn't working too well currently according to media reports - Once the developers push out smarter firmware to use laser uplinks + more ground stations then drop out rate will also decrease. Hope this helps :)
  5. Trusting a linksys on starlink is ballsy :P
  6. Try these - https://nz.rs-online.com/web/p/rubber-grommets/1879469/
  7. The gimbal is able to twist so to speak - It self aligns and will give you appropriate direction via the app of which direction to place the dishy.
  8. Submit a support request to Starlink support re changing location. As the CPE/Dishy is locked to a geocell area - once your unit initiates and connects to starlink its locked in. There is mention of the mobile starlink service - which uses the same dishy's but is not locked into an area.
  9. Have you rebooted it as per reddit's advice?
  10. Beta is in roll out at the moment - signup at www.starlink.com
  11. 12 months as far as I know
  12. NZ/Aus getting coverage at the moment and enough coverage to do full time connectivity. pacific is a big target on starlinks list :)
  13. The costs of putting even a satellite into space are tremendous, compare that to a small datacenter and your looking at a very difficult - unreliable large system vulnerable to far more issues than one on planet earth. Solar flare could wipe out an entire " space dc " whilst earth based DC's would be fine.
  14. Speeds will get higher as more sats are rolled out and more ground stations + laser uplinks
  15. Id say v2 terminals will have bigger heaters and be able to tip the snow off... :)
  16. Check this link: https://camperreport.com/starlink-internet/ 100watts of 12v afaik?
  17. Id assume its 12 months - typical standard warranty.
  18. It pulls far less than 900watts of power? Take a photo of the power adapter, post it up - Ill confirm the power usage for you ( 110/240 )
  19. Depending on your area 3-6 months from now.
  20. Rather than using WPS - use the wifi password provided?
  21. Try ubiquiti - apple routers won't work with itUbiquiti Mesh Wifi units are good - They also have consumer based units as well.
  22. Possibly in the next 2 years. USA is the priority it appears
  23. cannot see stream, has it been delayed?
  24. If its rural yes you will get starlink coverage
