Correct, laser uplinks. They have been testing it for a while, AFAIK the laser uplinking is not in production yet - but is installed on the current version of sats. So its a matter of development testing, getting it right. ( To be honest pointing lasers from sats at each other in space is horrendously complicated )

Some users internationally have been waiting over a year. Thats a fairly good indication they have given you even though its a big time period.
