  2. You can recover your account via your alternative email and/or phone number via this link: https://auth.starlink.com/forgot-password
  3. https://support.starlink.com/ Search wifi pass on that page @Karenmiller
  4. Hi @R Moudry This issue is not related to the groundstation. Its related to the IP subnet that your starlink has been assigned, the "ipwhois" information. There isn't much you can do unless you run a VPN to a local IP - Not really worth it to watch local advertisements?
  5. Many customers are experiencing 100mbps + downloads and support responses within 12-24 hours. Posting on multiple threads is not going to resolve the issues you have with Starlink. I know your frustrated but escalating posts, replies against Starlink isn't going to help. Feel free to PM me and we'll sort something out. Glad to hear it got sorted out @Linda Baldwin
  6. The unit has failed - Contact Starlink support and request a replacement.

  8. Whilst I'd love to help 100% its very difficult in regards of billing. There could be a number of reasons why your transaction is declining or failing: Bank/Payment processor is having issues and/or has blocked certain transactions Your region/area may not be supported, and/or blacklisted due to chargebacks. Browser/session issues Billing Backend - May have issues in terms of your billing dates, deposits & shipping etc. If its prorata and a deposit amount has changed which needs balancing this may cause issues with producing your monthly billing cycle - ( Just an assumption, not insider information ) Have you tried using a different debit card?
  9. 100% checked spam folders? The phone number is not particularly for a TXT, it maybe a verification phone call manually completed by staff. *Note to future users signing up to Starlink - Please do not use multiple email accounts.
  10. Its very difficult currently. However there is an option: https://auth.starlink.com/forgot-password Click on Alternative email. Enter your account number Phone number & Full name Then you progress through the recovery of your account. This may involve Starlink verifying email change via telephone, and via your alternative email.
  11. For a marine environment by any chance? There is a number of marine application style domes that you can get - Mount the starlink inside, cable then comes out very secure IP6* rated ports.
  12. Have you checked spam folder? Also have you attempted to reset password?
  13. I suspect a grounding issue or cable problem. is the conduit ( PVC ) filled with water by any chance?
  14. Reports have increased - Are you seeing congestion/outage issues? Feel free to reply with: Bandwidth rates - Internet only. ( WiFi only indicates your RF interference 😄 ) Outages, Time Period of which connectivity is offline or not 100%. Region
  15. Starlink is a genuine satellite internet service provider. Starlink which is largely successful - Is not a scam. Have you completed the basic troubleshooting steps? What outage errors are you seeing on the app?
  16. Elon and his team decided to change WiFi names to Stinky upon firmware updates/reset.
  17. Hi Britt Currently not possible as transfer of dish ownership has been paused.
  18. Sorry if its 6-8 years old its not going to connect. I'd recommend plugging in an older WiFI access point and setting up a WPS network. WPS is not secure fyi - they can be broken very easily. You can get an adapter for ethernet from the starlink shop within the app.
  19. Hi There Have you received *any* emails at all from starlink? Checked spam folder?
  20. Sorry to hear of your experience. Did you use the included cable? or your own cable? Also where did the water enter the cable?
  21. Have you tried to login via the old email address and or tried to reset the password on the old email address?
  22. No, However its a nice setup. Fair bit of work has gone into the UI, mapping raw sat constellation data which isn't easy.
  23. UPDATE: Congestion issues have decreased. Public reports of issues have decreased in the past 48 hours - https://downdetector.com/status/starlink/
  24. Have you done a factory reset? Turning it off and on doesn't do much other than, well booting it on. Factory Reset - Turns on an update seek function - Whereby when the satellite(s) ping out, your terminal says hello any updates, im running version x.x.x.x then the satellite will return saying yep, or no and the link to download it. Your router, dishy then updates - Telling it the appropriate frequencies to a) listen on first, b) connect on and c) connection profile Thats why new, or stowed starlink terminals don't connect immediately - because they don't have the provisioning configuration aligned to the current version of configuration on the network. So satellites don't reply back, until they have been updated. E.g if dishy terminal is two versions out of date, needs a factory reset to get a message from the satellites saying " heres an update ".
  25. Currently there is decent congestion on starlink - May explain some of the issues your seeing speed wise even after removing obstacles.
