Your asus mesh WiFi doesn't tell the starlink router " hey bro, sorry but ahh I've got the wifi here brother, so you can just turn off " Unfortunately inter-connectivity and inter-configuration at that level is just not available * yet * - give it 10 years. You need to disable WiFi on the starlink router if you want to just use your mesh wifi. The asus mesh wifi won't get the same speeds due to a) the AP's have to tunnel to each other, consuming RF band space for the uplink to each AP b) the WiFi radio in the starlink router is most likely above the asus mesh radio's spec wise - enabling faster speeds/aka data rates. Hope this helps 🙂

1) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.starlink.mobile At the very bottom states - " Requires Android 7.0 and up " 2) No you cannot delay your order. 3) Coverage - See the coverage map here -> 4) Trying to get a very precise answer for this is near impossible. Its like asking - How high will my water pressure be in my new city to state regulators. - Your speed depends on a number of factors nor is it guaranteed just like any other internet service you sign up for. Like many users are not sure - However rest assured already there is many many happy customers using starlink in the middle of no where. Take note - Not ideal getting starlink in urban city areas. Its designed for rural areas mainly.

Hi @falsetrue You could, however it would not be guaranteed service. Mobility/travel is not the intended purpose of the starlink current generation radios ( dishy's ) Typically ( or currently ) the starlink service is aligned to your home address, or account registered address - Whereby you receive priority service. Any where else, when you travel - You receive lesser priority outside of the geocell that your starlink originally is allocated too - When you first setup your account. - Why lesser service and less priority? Customers who are paying and are permanently setup already - Should get priority logically over travelling users. Hope this helps and if you have any further queries feel free to reach out.

I suspect the groundstation feeding the sat for your geocell was infact effected by the same storm. - Yes you will get interference during storms causing signal loss. - No signal received indicates your terminal could not connect to any starlink sats during the storm. Id also assume that the newer dish units the rectangle model - Will handle weather impacts better ( enhancements from the first models )

You cannot pause starlink internet services. In particular with the beta dish's - Once you cancel thats it.

Its due to geolocking - contact Apple TV re euronews accessibility and they should be able to unblock it for you.

Mobility will be available to starlink soon - They will enable several main or single home locations - Whilst when you travel you will get 2nd priority on the satellites as home owners assigned to the geocells your roaming too should be getting first priority. Hope this helps.

Rectangle dish is the higher premium starlink dish.

Yes you can use a switch - Doesn't matter what your switch does QoS wise the router will do it fine for you - doesn't need any changes for online gaming.
-
Starlink is CGNAT IPv4 - It doesn't support static IP addresses.
-
Yes you can use starlink for VPN's. Mobility wise - Starlink is in beta for mobility purposes.

Nice spam?

Your looking at between 60-120ms. It will get smaller as sats increase laser backhaul between each other instead of using ground stations for immediate uplink.

Yep, you can run fiber but only from the router. Dish requires POE.
