Outside of service address on RV service
StarlinkLeader replied to Choctawspirits's topic in Starlink Coverage
Hi @Choctawspirits Ensure GPS and location services are available to your app to use ( and/or activated ) Also try signing out then sign back into the app. -
I believe that Starlink was designed for outer rural customers in mind however a lot of mid-city users have signed up and its greyed the waters. My opinion on this is not official nor endorsed, however from what I can see congestion is caused by a number of unforseen factors - Resulting in congestion and other issues for users. Hopefully with more satellites and ground stations there will be less congestion. Thanks for your input @Roger Duffell

Ordering hardware ahead of availability
StarlinkLeader replied to DRHart's topic in Starlink Coverage
Hi @DRHart I would definitely order ahead of availability - Then your first in line so to speak to receive dishy. Numerous issues are presented when you attempt to use the dish in areas where it is not available. Hope this helps 🙂 -
HOWTO/GUIDE: Factory Reset Starlink
StarlinkLeader replied to StarlinkLeader's topic in Starlink Howto's
Update: How do I factory reset my starlink router and dish? If you encounter any issues during the setup or use of your router, you can factory reset it. The router will take a few minutes to reboot, and will require you to reconnect and set a new Network ID and Password. Network name will appear as "STINKY" or "STARLINK" in device WiFi settings. Standard (Circular): Gently push the button on the bottom of the router until the light turns blue and release. Standard (Rectangular) & High Performance: Power cycle Starlink (unplug the router from power and then plug back in) 3 times in a row. The router will take a few minutes to reboot, and will interrupt your service until you set up again. You can expect the light on the bottom of the router to be illuminated when complete. There are no lights on the front of the router. Starlink Mesh router: Power cycle the mesh (unplug from power and then plug back in) 3 times in a row. When repairing the node, make sure you connect to your primary Starlink router's network. Do not connect to your mesh node's new "STINKY" or "STARLINK" network that appears after plugging it in. Open the Starlink App. After 1-2 minutes, the Starlink App will prompt you with a "PAIR MESH NODE" notification. Note: A WiFi network name is also called an SSID. A Wifi password can be referred to as a network security key, WPA key or WAP/SPA2 passphrase. -

Numerous disconnects same time every night
StarlinkLeader replied to oofda33's topic in Starlink Troubleshooting & Questions
Correct there maybe satellite firmware updates, routing updates and numerous other system related maintenance conducted at low peak times. Otherwise there is firmware updates rolled out around that similar time for dishy & router. -

Ground Station Problem
StarlinkLeader replied to R Moudry's topic in Starlink Troubleshooting & Questions
Hi @R Moudry This issue is not related to the groundstation. Its related to the IP subnet that your starlink has been assigned, the "ipwhois" information. There isn't much you can do unless you run a VPN to a local IP - Not really worth it to watch local advertisements? -
Many customers are experiencing 100mbps + downloads and support responses within 12-24 hours. Posting on multiple threads is not going to resolve the issues you have with Starlink. I know your frustrated but escalating posts, replies against Starlink isn't going to help. Feel free to PM me and we'll sort something out. Glad to hear it got sorted out @Linda Baldwin

Whilst I'd love to help 100% its very difficult in regards of billing. There could be a number of reasons why your transaction is declining or failing: Bank/Payment processor is having issues and/or has blocked certain transactions Your region/area may not be supported, and/or blacklisted due to chargebacks. Browser/session issues Billing Backend - May have issues in terms of your billing dates, deposits & shipping etc. If its prorata and a deposit amount has changed which needs balancing this may cause issues with producing your monthly billing cycle - ( Just an assumption, not insider information ) Have you tried using a different debit card?

Cannot access my email account
StarlinkLeader replied to David Garner's topic in Starlink Troubleshooting & Questions
Its very difficult currently. However there is an option: https://auth.starlink.com/forgot-password Click on Alternative email. Enter your account number Phone number & Full name Then you progress through the recovery of your account. This may involve Starlink verifying email change via telephone, and via your alternative email. -
Exterior weatherproof enclosure
StarlinkLeader replied to Captain Bob's topic in Starlink Troubleshooting & Questions
For a marine environment by any chance? There is a number of marine application style domes that you can get - Mount the starlink inside, cable then comes out very secure IP6* rated ports. -
Have you checked spam folder? Also have you attempted to reset password?
